Get Ready to Have Fun!
The Glow Dance Party (for middle schoolers) and Homecoming Dance (for high schoolers) is your chance to shine! Show off your best moves, hang with friends, play games, and have an unforgettable evening!

Event Details:

  • 📅 Date: Friday, October 17, 2025

  • 🕒 Time: Middle School from 5:30 to 7 pm. High School from 7:30 to 9 pm

  • 📍 Location: Big Picture School Cafe

  • 🎫 Tickets: Tickets are available for $10 and include food, drinks, and tons of fun

What to Expect:

  • Music: We’ve got a DJ lined up who will play your favorite songs.

  • Glow & Blacklights: Dance under blacklights—wear white or fluorescent clothing and makeup to stand out.

  • Food & Drinks: Refuel with free food, snacks, and drinks. Dietary needs and food allergies will be accommodated.

  • Relax & Play: Chill in the courtyard or play games.

Volunteer on October 17

We’re seeking parents to help with setup, staff the welcome desk, supervise, and assist with food and drinks.

We’re collecting snacks and drinks to keep the kids fueled up! Please drop off your donations at the school’s main office by Wednesday, October 15 the latest.

What to Wear

Come dressed in white or fluorescent clothing or your finest formalwear—it’s your night to glow! Add fluorescent face paint or makeup. Free face paint will be available at the party.

Dress Code Reminders:

  • No full-face masks

  • No weapons (real or costume)

  • No clothing that promotes drugs, violence, or mocks others

Code of Conduct

All students (or parents/guardians) must agree to the Code of Conduct (“Dance Expectations”) to attend. You can do this during online ticket purchase or by signing a paper form at the sales table or main office.

Guest Policy

  • Middle School (grades 6–8): No outside guests allowed

  • High School (grades 9–12): May bring one guest from another school with a completed Guest Form signed by both principals (available in the main office).

Frequently Asked Questions

Are discounted tickets available?
Yes. Students eligible for Free & Reduced Price Meals can receive a free ticket. Contact Carol Anne Yamamoto in the main office.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. Tickets must be purchased in advance by Thursday, October 16. No ticket sales on Friday or at the door.

Do students get a physical ticket?
No. Students’ names are added to the guest list, and they’ll be checked in at the entrance.

How do I share dietary restrictions?
You can note them during the online checkout process when purchasing tickets.

What is the dress code?
“Dress to impress” in formalwear or wear white and fluorescent clothing so that you can glow in the dark. All outfits must follow Bellevue School District dress code.

Can I request songs?
Yes. Submit requests by Wednesday, October 15. We can’t accept requests during the dance.
